When I first started this business, I never imagined it would become what it is today. Back then, I was doing taxes to help people out; something to get me through college before I pursued a “real” career. But as fate would have it, the work stuck with me — and more importantly, my clients did too.

In 2013, I became a manager at H&R Block, leading two offices and growing both my technical and leadership skills. The following year, I was invited to join Intuit as a tax expert for TurboTax. I ultimately accepted a different position at the company that launched a successful corporate career in product, operations, and strategic leadership. I thought I’d moved on. But time and again, clients returned and asked me to stay — and eventually, I realized this wasn’t just a side path. It was my calling.

Over the years, IndiVillage has grown with me. What began as a tax practice evolved into a full-spectrum professional services firm. First came business consulting, then fractional CFO services. Today, we also offer high-level operational and strategic support for small to midsize businesses—all while continuing to serve complex individual tax clients who value personal attention and precision.
